FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Where can you ship to?
In compliance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act I only ship my handcrafted marine mammal material products and mammoth ivory carvings within the United States, with some state restrictions. If you don't see your state on the list, there are restrictions in your state and you will not be able to purchase those items. No shipments of mammoth ivory to NY, any purchases will be refunded.
Here is a link I found that might help with questions regarding state restrictions and sales of marine mammal materials and mammoth ivory;

Other handcrafted products I use containing antler and horn can be shipped without restrictions.
Q: Is it ok if non-Native individuals purchase and wear your work?
YES! Non-Native individuals are encouraged to wear my work and I encourage you to support Native owned businesses! 🖤Support Inspired Natives, not “Native-Inspired.” Most of my work is contemporary, and not ceremonial. So yes, you can purchase and wear my work as a non-Native, I appreciate your support of my work and the support of all Indigenous artists!
Q: Is that elephant ivory?
NO. I DO NOT use any elephant materials in my work. and highly discourage against using, buying, or supporting the sale of any elephant materials, as it is illegal and unethical.
The only ivory materials I use are prehistoric mammoth ivory, fresh and fossilized walrus ivory, which is obtained through subsistence hunting or beach combing, and a necessity for Alaska Natives
“Subsistence hunting occurs throughout Alaska all year long and is central to the customs and traditions of many cultural groups in Alaska. For most rural Alaska Residents, subsistence hunting is critical to their nutrition, food security, and economic stability. In many rural areas, subsistence hunting, similarly to subsistence fishing, is considered as a part of normal routine of work. Depending on the community and area, moose, caribou, deer, bears, Dall sheep, mountain goats, and beavers are commonly used land mammals. Seals, sea lions, walruses, and whales make up the marine mammal harvest.
Subsistence hunting in Alaska is normally managed under the same regulations as general season, drawing, and registration hunts, and a hunting license and harvest tag is usually required.” -Alaska Department of Fish and Game
